Five years ago, Dr. Sleeth was living the American Dream with the big house, lovely wife, two children and a job that gave him status in his community.  As he saw an increasing number of his patients suffering from chronic disease, he began to suspect that the earth and its inhabitants were in deep trouble.  He turned to the Bible for guidance and discovered how the lessons of personal responsibility, simplicity and stewardship taught there could be applied to this crisis.

Sleeth describes his defining moment with Etta, an eight year old with asthma, who simply wanted to play outside on one of those really bad pollution days.  You know... go to the playground and run through the water sprinkler, the activities that used to be a part of a healthy summer.  Etta came to the emergency room and a team of doctors worked hard to save her but she "died of air pollution that day" becoming one of thousands to do so each year. Dr. Sleeth promised Etta he wouldn't let anything bad happen to her.  Although he couldn't keep that promise, he later sold all he had, moved with his family to New Hampshire and became a passionate part of the creation care movement.

Dr. Sleeth is drawing crowds across the country with his message of simplicity and personal responsibility and connecting it to the love all people of faith should have for the earth. You can find out more about him at www.servegodsavetheplanet.org.
