If future generations are to remember us more with gratitude than sorrow, we must achieve more than just the miracles of technology. We must also leave them a glimpse of the world as it was created, not just as it looked when we got through with it.

Little Things You Can Do (And Shopping!)
Hello all!
Please, please, please take a few moments out of your day to check out this guide to little improvements you can make to render your home more energy efficient! This is a great, easy way to help the environment and this document even arranges the steps in order of Things You Can Do Today, This Week, This Month, and This Year - bite-sized bits.
Also, for any other fashionistas or people with fashionista daughters, Urban Outfitters is having an online sale of "Urban Renewals" - clothes made from recycled garments. I checked it out and they are super cute. A great, sustainable gift for an upcoming birthday or just an indulgence for yourself. Go quickly! They have a limited supply!
And for more sustainable products, check out the businesses that have subscribed to the "1% for the Planet" program. These businesses and clothing stores often use organic cotton materials, pay fair wages to workers, and they all give 1% of their business profits to environmental initiatives. Get cute things and feel good about doing it! It's not indulgent if its saving the environment....: )
Peace,
Shelby
